I was able to return to my business as a District Manager in 2000 and re-build, while still receiving credit for Carol and Lana’s businesses. Then, Arbonne made it possible for me to work my way to National Vice President and “pick” Carol and Lana back up. To the team that has come alongside me in the last few years ... there are no adequate words for me to express how I feel. These women are my best friends, my kindest critics, my greatest teachers and my own cheerleading squad. They are everything you dream of when you imagine a life full of joyous relationships and a team that consists of commitment, dedication, loyalty and maturity. This team rocks my world with their willingness to grow into their own dreams and be bold and driven by the needs of others. Because of these women, their families and teams, I am driven to be the best person and leader I can be.
The best part of this achievement for me is what it has allowed me to do for my family. I borrowed the money from my parents in 1993 to buy my Starter Kit with Arbonne. My mom is now my full-time assistant and she keeps me in line! My team and I would be lost at this point without her. She is the wisdom behind my decisions, and a trusted confidante. My dad worked so hard his whole life to give us everything we needed, and nothing feels better than having him with us now to read to my kids, take them to story time and to the park and pool. He doesn’t have to worry about me anymore. Because of Arbonne, I can begin to give back to the two people in this world who have been there for me, unfailing and constant.
My husband, Randy, is a wonderful photographer and he loves to run. When we got married six years ago, he sacrificed those passions to work three jobs to support our family. Now, he is home full-time every day and is the anchor of my business. He is the love of my life and now fills the role of Mr. Mom, developing relationships with our kids that most dads miss out on. He runs marathons now and he has time for his photography. The best part is that he has passed on his passions to our son, and they are wonderful together. As a family we have time to be together, know each other and live our best life together because of the wonderful gift of time Arbonne gives.
We are living our dream life ... from bankruptcy, fear and desperation years before to have the potential for financial peace, confidence and freedom today!
God absolutely knew how my life would unfold. This was brought into my life 10 years ago, when I was a single mom and waitress. He knew all of the lives that would be influenced, the long road to my own realization that extraordinary success could be mine; the amazing, worthwhile lessons along the way and the huge blessing this opportunity would be in my life now, with three beautiful children and a wonderful husband. I am so glad this has been my path … we have only just begun.
