“Know deep in your heart that most people are looking for what we have to offer, so do not hesitate in sharing the opportunity with everyone.”
This business can fulfill your every hope and dream … if you allow it to.
Do you want to hear the most exciting part? We get to make a difference in other people’s lives every day by offering them our pure, safe, beneficial product line, or by presenting them with a life-changing opportunity to potentially secure financial and time freedom for themselves. It is often the case that they find their true place of happiness in a little bit of both.
Even though I have been involved with Arbonne for the last 10 years, I often have to pinch myself to make sure this is all real! We have been blessed beyond anything imaginable by a business I have done only part time. I accomplished this by simply building a network of consumers, who were grateful I did not “sell” to them, but merely shared everything from health information to industry trends and enabled them to decide for themselves what was right for their particular situation at that particular time in their life.
Personally, I was just a very happy “discount Consultant.” I was very content to just buy my products at a discount. I could not stop telling everyone about the incredible deal I was getting and how great the products were. I started to earn the potential of increased pay checks, and I started dreaming about getting out of my dreary 8-to-5 office job. The more I talked about Arbonne, the greater the possibility of easing out of my office job. Soon, I was able to go part time.
Slowly, I started adapting two very powerful phrases into my vocabulary: Time leveraging and the potential for residual income. These two things can, and will, change your life. They have helped me define my idea of the perfect life! I was able to own my life, be my own boss and set my own hours. Because of my Arbonne business, my husband and I were able to move into our dream home, and I have been able to create my dream backyard that I have visualized for years. So, as I write my Eye on Arbonne NVP story, gazing out of my office window at my beautiful waterfall with the woods as a backdrop, my eyes are filled with tears and my heart is filled with gratitude.
Gratitude is one of the many secrets to life. I am so grateful to God, so grateful I live in this wonderful country, grateful for my health and for my wonderful family. But in my business, I am most grateful to my fabulous team — my Arbonne family. I never could have gotten here without all of you. Not only are you my business partners, you all are my dear friends. We often console each other through the ups and downs in our lives, as well as in our business. I am often asked for advice, and I want you all, as well as everyone else reading this, to never quit and always persevere. Do not treat your business like a hobby. Jump in with both feet and put your blinders on when you need to get through the rough spots. Work on “you,” get passionate about network marketing, talk to everyone and pass this golden baton onto everyone you meet. Know deep in your heart that most people are looking for what we have to offer, so shame on you if you do not share this incredible gift of Arbonne.
Speaking of “gifts,” I want to thank Dr. Shad Helmstetter, who was instrumental in helping me change my thinking about myself and my abilities. His sage lessons helped me draw out my talents and develop them into assets that I can use in business and life. Thank you for your wonderful words of wisdom that I know changes lives, which I often share with my team.
To my sister-in-law, who is beautiful both inside and out, ENVP Kim Kearns: Thank you so much for bringing Arbonne into our lives. It has been such a fun and fulfilling 10 years working together, traveling with our families and making such lifelong memories. I can only imagine how the next 10 will play out. I will never forget us standing and looking out the window high above Texas Stadium at NTC, with tears in our eyes as our teams started piling in, knowing how incredible our futures were. Together, all of our dreams are coming true!
To my dear friend and one of my first business partners, ERVP Charman Hunzeker: I just want you to know how proud I am of you. Watching you become the person you are now and watching you enjoy this new confidence and life you have created for yourself, and your family, are just priceless. I am so glad you listened to me and never gave up. I was so sad when you moved out of state, but what a team you have built. Your Quincy, Illinois RVPs, Kathy Libman, Linda Miller and Lennis Raney, are great. And, I am sure your AMs, Laura Olson, Pam Graeler and “Di,” will be next!
To my Area Managers and soon to be RVPs, Lisa Bonagurio, Kathy Bumeter, Anne Ray, Annette Choate, Karen Mainini, Shawna Maune and Christine Piontek: You guys are the best and deserve to be VPs. All I can say is, I cannot wait to hand you the keys to your new, white Mercedes-Benzes. To all our DMs: Do not give up, payday is just around the corner!
I have also received great satisfaction from watching my sister, AM-in-qualification Denise Garcia, get involved in Arbonne. It sure took me a while to convince her, but now there is no stopping her. I think she finally gets it. Denise, you have an awesome team and you will get there soon, I know it. Oh, what a moment that will be!
I would also like to thank a few of my mentors in Arbonne. Of course, the moment I was fortunate to experience President Rita Davenport and ENVP Donna Johnson on the same day, I knew I wanted to be a part of this company. You both have played a big part in my Arbonne career. I would also like to thank Sr. VP of Product Development & Field Events, Candace Keefe for being such an inspiration and especially for lending me all her things when the airlines lost my luggage on an Arbonne trip. I will never forget that! A few more people who have touched my life on my Arbonne journey are ENVP Julie Newcomb, NVP Donna Corbin, ENVP Cindy Pipkin, ENVP Martha McIntyre, and RVPs Linda Cruikshank and Lisa Konshak. Thank you all.
To my husband, John: I quite often wonder what I did to deserve such a gem of a man. I love you and am thankful every day for all you do. It is a blessing we found each other so early on in life. Life with you has been a joy and we both know it is only going to get better and better. I know, thanks to Arbonne, you will be able to retire before the age of 45. How incredible is that?
To my beautiful daughter, Taylor: You are now, and have always been, my driving force for doing this business. I wanted to be there for you growing up and I want you to have the best life. Arbonne has enabled me to not have to miss one important milestone in your life, and has given us so many wonderful experiences. You are a very lucky girl and I love you to the moon and back!
